One gardener's observations, discoveries and random thoughts whilst simultaneously worshipping and dallying in a Cape Cod garden. "A garden," said Ralph Waldo Emerson, "is like those pernicious machineries which catch a man's coatskirt or his hand, and draw in his arm, his leg and his whole body to irresistable destruction."

  1. Beautiful! Tell Badum that I said, “nice shot!”

If it weren’t for him, I’d not have been looking out the window at that hour, so I’ll be sure to pass along your kudos!

  2. Cats are such great waker-uppers. I had my alarm set for 5:45 this morning, but the feline one went off fifteen minutes before that–a way better way to wake up. Judging from the light cloud cover it looks like you had a nice bright day. Hope it was a great one!
