One gardener's observations, discoveries and random thoughts whilst simultaneously worshipping and dallying in a Cape Cod garden. "A garden," said Ralph Waldo Emerson, "is like those pernicious machineries which catch a man's coatskirt or his hand, and draw in his arm, his leg and his whole body to irresistable destruction."

For Wishing

Another sunny day.

More time with family and friends, old and new.

A day off with nothing to do.

A new garden for planting dreams.

One more kiss.

A glimpse of a hawk soaring.

A peaceful world.

A little more caffeine.

A long winter’s nap.

So many reasons to make a wish.  What would yours be?

  1. More unguarded moments.

  2. the opportunity to visit some of the dear friends I’ve made on the blogs

justice for the evil-doers in the world

the end of homophobia in the world

And Greg, only one more kiss?

Oh, Java, you misunderstand me: ALWAYS one more kiss!

  3. Well, Greg, there is an election on its way…

    Here’s hoping yours come true…

I do have wishes about the election, as well, to be sure!

  4. An interesting orb-like looking figure in that last photo…..Speaking of orb, a wish for me would be world peace. And a partner. ;-)
