One gardener's observations, discoveries and random thoughts whilst simultaneously worshipping and dallying in a Cape Cod garden. Nice Weather For Ducks

Rain today, which is something you won’t hear me complaining about; we certainly need it. We’ve noticed recently that the pond seems to be shrinking almost daily this fall, despite the occasional rainfall. I don’t expect today’s precip will make all that much difference…but a whole weekend of down-pouring might. Ironically, the pond is beginning to look a little like the tiny bit of water it was when we first moved in here nearly three years ago.

  1. Ahhhhh…another deep breath, while looking through your pictures, and reading your words. I like stopping by here, Greg. It’s food for the soul. I hope it rains all weekend for you!
