One gardener's observations, discoveries and random thoughts whilst simultaneously worshipping and dallying in a Cape Cod garden. "A garden," said Ralph Waldo Emerson, "is like those pernicious machineries which catch a man's coatskirt or his hand, and draw in his arm, his leg and his whole body to irresistable destruction."

I’ve been away from both blog and garden for the most part this week, as I’m working on a “secret photography” project, which has me sorting through all sorts of CDs and boxes of files for pics from the last eleven years.

I’ll try to hit you up with some highlights when all’s said and done, but for the moment, I’m racing against a deadline…not nearly as relaxed as this dragonfly on the screen door this afternoon.
