One gardener's observations, discoveries and random thoughts whilst simultaneously worshipping and dallying in a Cape Cod garden. "A garden," said Ralph Waldo Emerson, "is like those pernicious machineries which catch a man's coatskirt or his hand, and draw in his arm, his leg and his whole body to irresistable destruction."

Welcome Spring!

Found this pretty golden snow crocus in the front garden bed this morning, appearing right on time for this first full day of spring.

Here’s a pair of shots I got this evening of the crescent Moon, with the planet Venus visible just below.

Look to the skies!
Is anyone else watching the skies, and enjoying watching Orion and the Dippers swing around into their proper summertime viewing positions?? There’s just so much to love about spring…
