One gardener's observations, discoveries and random thoughts whilst simultaneously worshipping and dallying in a Cape Cod garden. "A garden," said Ralph Waldo Emerson, "is like those pernicious machineries which catch a man's coatskirt or his hand, and draw in his arm, his leg and his whole body to irresistable destruction."

Imagination Is Silly…

I recently used some of my garden photos to experiment with some of the more off-beat effects of the photo program (Photoplus 6.0) I work with. Some of the results were cool enough to share. I think they’ve got great potential as monitor wallpapers.

Some of the results manage to be both abstract as heck and still fairly revealing of the original species. Still, I’ll leave you to guess.

Of course, there are times when you probably can’t discern the original subject…cause I messed with it so bad, that even I don’t remember.

This one reminds me of the time when the Coyote thought opening up a wormhole in space would be the way to catch that Roadrunner, once and for all. Poor Wile E.
